The Good:

- big & strong player
- 7’0″ wingspan
- very successful freshman season
- came up big in the biggest, pressure packed games of the year (aka the NCAA Tournament)
- fantastic at drawing fouls
- rebound machine (at both ends of the floor)
- fantastic post player – creates his own shot
- very efficient scorer at the rim (70% FG at rim)
- quick for a big man
- lefty

The Bad:

- apparently has a bad foot that might need surgery
- a year older than other freshmen
- turns the ball over a lot for a post player
- mediocre defender
- not a very efficient scorer
- needs range on his jumper
- not huge upside
- not an off-the-charts athlete

The Video Proof:

NBA Comparison:

Paul Millsap, Jared Sullinger

The Skinny:

Not a huge amount of “upside” due to his lack of length (although he does have a surprising 7’0″ wingspan) and athleticism (by NBA freak standards), but Randle still has the potential to be a solid NBA pro due to his rebounding and post skills.
