We’ve hit the dog days of the NBA summer.  All the big name free agents have been snatched up.  Summer league is over.  Training camps are still weeks away.  So now is the perfect time to reminisce a bit over current NBA players’ career accomplishments to see if they are Hall of Fame worthy or not.  Next up: Chris Bosh

Statitudes Hall of Fame Standard (average Hall of Famer scores 50): 60

Chris Bosh is a first ballot Hall of Famer.  That probably comes as a bit of a surprise to some, as he’s been pretty much under-appreciated throughout his career.  First he was hidden in the basketball hinterlands of Toronto.  Then he was considered the third wheel on the Heat for the past four seasons.  But the man has made nine-straight All-Star teams, was a key cog on two championship teams, and has a terrific career statline despite not being the center of attention in Miami.  Only 30, and now “The Man” on his team once more, Bosh is bound to add even more to his already impressive resume.

Verdict: A lock
